How To Access Regus Business Lounges For Free

Free Regus Business Lounges

I wrote this from

This is an easy way to get 15 free visits to Regus Business Lounges

All you have to do is:

1. Sign up to Avis Preferred (the loyalty program ran by car hire company Avis)
2. Follow this link to enter your Avis Preferred membership number
3. Wait for your new membership card from Regus to arrive

Simple, eh?  I know this works because I have just done it myself 😉

I’m actually writing this in the Regus business lounge on Chester Business Park (see pic below) and I have to say my initial impressions are very good.  You get free parking, WiFi, Internet and drinks.  There are also Apple computers to use, plenty of meeting space and these funky little ‘pods’ which provide some privacy even though the office space is shared.  It’s not too busy either (although this might be because it’s a Friday?).

I intentionally work remotely one day every couple of weeks.  Working remotely helps me focus.  When you run a business you often get involved in day-to-day minutiae, which can divert your attention from the bigger picture; being away from the office helps me look at things from a distance.

I’ll make good use of the 15 free days here.  If the rest of the visits are as productive as this one then I can see me taking out a paid membership.

One bit of advice if you are considering taking out a paid membership – don’t pay the going rate on the Regus website – there are lots of other ways to get discounted access to Regus lounges.  A list of these can be found here on Head for Points (my favourite website).
