A Look Back On 2014

a look back at 2014

Merry Christmas!  This is my last blog post for the year, so I thought I’d reflect on what’s happened over the past 12 months, for both myself personally and for the world in general.

A Personal Look Back On 2014

2014 was certainly an eventful year for me!  I went to Paris (I actually went twice this year but only mentioned this on my blog once) where I visited Paris Motor Show.  Then last month I went to Moscow (and flew in First Class thanks to my obsession with collecting Airmiles!).

Work has been awesome this year, too.  I’ve been creating lots of videos for my company’s YouTube channel and I picked some useful tips for recording videos in the process.

I worked with branding consultant to overhaul my Personal Brand where again I learned a lot about the Personal Rebranding Process.

Elsewhere I was featured in a number of newspapers and I did my Ice Bucket Challenge which has proved to be quite popular (although it isn’t as popular as my wife’s one!).

And this is only the tip of the iceberg which I have mentioned on my blog.  There has been TONS of good stuff going on at my company.  In April we moved our e-commerce website to the domain Chemicals.co.uk and at the same time launched a new website on ReAgent.co.uk.  You can find out more about our big move here.  We have also started rolling out international websites which will continue throughout 2015, along with making a lot more use of video.

I have to say, I am extremely excited about next year – I think 2015 will be a year to remember – there is a lot of great stuff in the pipeline and we have a brilliant team in place.

A General Look Back On 2014

I started making a list of the major world events but I think it’s easier if I just show you this video because it does the job a lot better than I ever could:

I hope 2014 was good for you and wish you all the best for 2015.  Thank you for following my online journey and I’ll see you next year.
